As for the duas we learned to seek protection, they are:

Allahumma inas’aluka ridaka wal jannah, wa na’udhu bika min sakhatika wan-nar.
Oh Allah! We ask You to be pleased with us, reward us with the Paradise and we seek Your refuge from Your anger and the punishment of the Fire.

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil ‘akhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar

Give us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the fire.

And after Fajr, recite 7 times:

Allahumma Ajirna min-an-naar.

O Allah, protect us from the fire.

“O Allah, I ask you for sudden good and seek your protection from sudden evil.”

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا , وَ رِزْقًا طَيَّبًا , وَ عَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّل

Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘Ilman naafiyan, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan

O Allah! I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision and deeds that will be accepted.

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

Rabbi inni lima anzalta illayya min khairen faqeer. (O my Lord! truly I am in (desperate) need of any good that You do give me!”

Mentioned in Surah Qasas, verse 24

Allahumma a’inee ‘ala dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ibadatik.

Mu`adh ibn Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) held my hand and said, “O Mu`adh, By Allah, I love you and advise you not to miss supplicating after every Salat (prayer) saying: `Allahumma a`inni `ala dhikrika wa shukrika, wa husni `ibadatika,’ (O Allah, help me remember You, expressing gratitude to You and worship You in the best manner)”.

[Abu Dawud and An-Nasa'i].

Allahummaj al-kitabahu fi illiyiin waktubhu ‘inndaka minal muhsinin wakhlufhu fi ahlihi fil ghabirin waghfirlana walaghu ya Rabbal’alamin.

‘Oh Allah place his record in illiyin, record him as a man of excellence (muhsinin), provide a successor for him in caring for his family in the ephemeral world, and forgive us and him, oh Lord of the Worlds’.

When burying the dead and placing three handfuls of dirt upon the body it is recommended to say:
1st handful: Minha khalaqnaakum (from it We created you)

2nd handful:Wa fiiha nu’iiydukum (and in it We will return you)

3rd handful: Wa minha nukhrijukum taa ra ta ukhraa (and from it shall We bring you forth another time).

This is from Surah TaHa 20:55.

“All the conditions and prerequisites that have been mentioned for prayer will also apply for the funeral prayer. However, there is one additional condition for the funeral prayer. That is, one must have knowledge of the person’s death. The person who is not informed of this will be excused and funeral prayer will not be necessary on him.”

From this we can ascertain, that yes, wudu is a condition for the validity of the funeral prayer.

2. Ajbu Dhanab- Coccyx- This is the one part of our bodies that does not decay. It is believed that this is from where we will be resurrected.

4. Can we place flowers on a grave? Please read below or visit here for the full answer. .
“Placing green stalks and the like on graves

… Its evidence is that which has been reported in the hadiths that the Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) placed a green stalk after breaking it in half on the grave of the two who were being punished [in their graves]… It is taken from the reasoning [given by the fuqaha, which is that the punishment is lessened by the tasbih of the stalk] and from the hadith [itself] that it is recommended to place them, in order to follow the Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace). Analogy can be made from this for that which people customarily do in our times by places myrtle boughs and the like. A number of Shafi`i fuqaha have also stated this. This [reasoning] is superior to that which some Malikis stated that the lessening of the punishment of the grave for the two only happened by the baraka of the noble hand of the Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) or by his supplication, so [they said that] analogy may not be made on this. Bukhari (Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in his Sahih that Burayda ibn al-Husayb (Allah be pleased with him) stipulated that two green stalks be placed on his grave. And Allah knows best.” [Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar, ‘Bab al-Jana’iz]

Imam Abu Bakr Ibn Abi Shayba has a chapter in his Musannaf that he titled ‘That Which Reduces The Punishment of the Grave,’ in which he mentioned narrations from Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) regarding this.

Even Ibn Taymiyya (Allah have mercy on him), with his very narrow understanding of innovation said,

“The scholars deduced from [the hadiths regarding] placing the green stalks on graves that one may plant trees and flowers on the grave. They did not explain how exactly, though it is established that he (Allah bless him & give him peace) planted one stalk on each grave. Therefore, the purpose is fulfilled by placing them anywhere. It has been reported, though, by Ibn Humayd in his Musnad that, “The Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) placed the stalk on the grave at the level of the head.” [Ibn Taymiyya, al-Fatawa al-Fiqhiyya al-Kubra, ‘Kitab al-Jana’iz’, 2: 9]
